i have a wd45 with shifter troubles. after doing some research i found that it seems i have a wd45 with a wd shifter tower on it. i only have 1 pivot pin and the shaft is straight. my question is that it keeps getting stuck in gear. the end of shifter is very wore. can i just weld it up, or will it still give me troubles. i found the dimensions online so i know what it supposed to look like. thanks

I have welded up both my WD and WD-45 shifter ends with great success.
I also made oversize pins for the WD-45 tower as both the pins and holes were worn.
There is much more stress on the WD-45 shifter pins because of the curve in the shifter.
