Dad bought a new snap coupler 2 row lister with rolling moleboards in the late 50's. Traded it for a 4 row planter in the middle 60's.

I have one always shedded and cleaned after use; Fiberglass boxes, disc seed placement. Very good planter. Wouldn't sell for under a grand. Snap coupler.

if in good shape and with snap couple hitch.
I would ask $500 + for it.

just go down the road and see how far you have to go before you find another one. The value is in how rare it is.

worth not so much to plant corn with, but they are few and far between.

I had one, only one I ever saw, and I had lots of snap couple equipment in days past.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S ... [Read Article]
