Need help with steering assembly cones and cups. Can anyone assist in crossover numbers for the replacement parts or let me know where I can purchase them. Having no luck.

(I soloed on a '36 WC when I was 6 years old. Dad bought it new in April of '36 for $935)

Thanks for the phone numbers. Didn"t see anything in the Steiner"s catalogue, but will try to call them..Contacted an Allis Chalmers dealer (locally) parts no longer available and he couldn"t tell us crossover numbers or where to get them..He does have parts for the WC but not those cones and cups.
Thanks for the help.

Are these ball or roller bearings? Bearings and races have maker name and numbers on them to identify them. Cups and cones for balls bearings should also be marked. If you get this info I could help you with the replacement.

Thanks...
211584 is the number of the cup, bearing worm shaft (need two of these)
211585 is the number of the cone, bearing worm shaft(need two of these, as well). Any help will be appreciated. An Allis Chalmers dealer (local) couldn't help us. Part no longer available and he couldn't tell us crossover number or where we might be able to get the items. He did, by the way, carry parts for the WC but not these.

211584 converts to a SKF bearing number BR1931

I couldn't find a conversion for the 211585.

Another way to find a bearing that will work is to measure the inside diameter of the cone, the outside diameter of the cup, and the overall width of the cone and cup together.

Thanks for the tip. We have already done that and now we are investigating further. Thank you for your time in trying to help us. Another YT member did suggest we contact Tony Carbaugh and he believes he may be able to secure the cones and cups for us.......

Keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks
