WD45 hydraulic problems

I just bought a WD45 and I can"t get the loader or rear lift arms to go down. It"s been setting a few years but it started right up when I got it home. It was missing one hyd hose from the pump to the left lift cylinder and could have gotten some moisture inside. The hydraulic pump never stops pumping pressure no matter where I put the hyd lever.

Sounds like you need to rebuild your hold position valve. I had to this spring on my wd. You can still get the rebuild kit from agco for pretty inexpensive. Only took a hour and some patience to do it.

I have had the lever, that is controlled by the link that activates the traction booster to spin on the shaft cause the pump to pump pressure all the time.

They have some parts inside the pump that come apart from wear and will cause this problem. It will ru the pump if you continue to use the tractor. Unfortunately my brain at this minute, doesnt remember the parts that wear out.
