Allis WC starting problems

I had this tractor running 3 months ago with new plugs new magneto new carb., but i let it sit without starting for 3 months and now i cant get it to start. it has compression and gas but iam not positive of a spark being hand crank its been hard to check.

One like that you need 2 people so you can check spark no other way to do it well. Ya you can buy a spark tester but on a mag those do not always work well. I will bet the points need cleaned and if you do that it will most likely start. If you do not have the manual for the mag send me an e-mail and I will send you a copy I have. Helps a lot when opening up that mag since you can get it out of time easy

i found the firing order was off and also the timing was off. I did get it started but it would only run about 2 minutes with dark smoke. the carb is leaking fuel but i do not know the adjustments for it.

That carb problem sounds like either a sticking float or a clogged up air cleaner and if it sat long dirt dubbers love to clog up things like air cleaners
