Re-working the Autolite Starter on my 46 WC - Are the brush pigtails soldered with (radio)60/40 or (plumbing) 50/50 solder, to the field coil lugs?

The radio solder is all I've ever used, Works fine.

For ALL electrical type work you want rosin core solder nothing else. Never acid core and never a none core type solder always rosin core as per my electronics training and being at one time micro mini certified as in able to solder computer parts
