D15/i600 G160 eng HP

I ended up with both a d15 and an i600 basket case project tractor,s with g160 engines. I'm seeing conflicting HP ratings for the d15 vs i600 g160 engine. Anyone know for sure the HP for these two tractors. I would think their the same?

A G-160 is a G-160. Older D-15's and I-60's had a G-149. Somebody prolly transposed some numbers, somewhere down the line.

I was buying alot of engine parts off minn tractor who is the official dealer and it was under stood the I 600 has a g160 engine. Tractor data.com is incorrect on their hp spec.

The industrial tractors were rated using engine HP instead of PTO or Belt HP on the ag tractors. That is the reason you"re seeing the different ratings. My I-600 brochure lists engine HP at 56.8, compared to 46.18 PTO HP for the D15 II. As Dave said, they are the same engine.
