Ca snap coupler disk

I’ve seen them sell in northern Indiana over the last couple years from $400 - $1,000. There’s not many of them, but they are around.

has one for sale, looks brand new. I think they refurbish or restore these. doesn't have a price, it is 9' SC disc. They might give you a price if you call or email.

I have two, but they are not for sale. Both are 9' Allis transport discs. The one on the left has the SC connector ends. I took the loop off the front and pull them with the draw bar. I have several SC pieces. I don't use the snap coupler feature though. I use the older pin hitch connectors. I like to bolt every thing on. Heard too many stories of plows walking up the back tire on SC stuff.

To me a CA snap coupler disk is a fully mounted unit 5 to 7 blades wide and NO ground carrying wheels Yours are a wheel disk with Snap coupler hitch and have seen a few of them and a CA would be very hard pressed to pull one like yours.

I use a WD to pull these. The snap coupler attachment is to add weight to the rear and not intended to lift the disc.

While looking for a snap coupler disk, have you spotted any good buys on junk disks? I live in West KY too. A family member recently bought an Allis Chalmers 2300 wheeled disk. Bearings ruined in front right gang. Would be cheaper to replace the whole gang rather than repair, if we could find a junked disk with a working front right gang.
