serial number on my 1950???Allis Chalmers B

On the top of the transmission the numbers 89066 seem to be my serial number? I want to know the real year if it is not 1950. Can anyone help?

So it is a 1948? Cool, how did you come up with that? Any web sites you know of? This is my first tractor and I want to restore it some.

Left side of the page under research and info then serial numbers, then Allis then B and see where your number fits in the list of serial number ad you have the year

I used Terry Dean's AC data book. The serial number list on this site I do not trust as it has been proven inaccurate on different models.
