Even though it's expensive, you would be better off overhauling yours. Cracked heads and sleeves that have dropped down in the block don't always show up right away. Both are expensive to correct. By building yours, you will know your head is good and the counterbores the sleeves set in are right. Nice running engine when all is correct.
 
I'm sure the crank is junk in mine and I know the block has had work done to it before. Doesn't give me much to work with.
