Allis G Muffler

Bought a new muffler for my G but it is too large in diameter and is too close to the distributor and plug wires. I have seen them smaller in diameter. Anyone know where to get one?

the original muffler ia about 4" across. You may need a longer pipe nipple to get it farther away from the dist. Bob

just get a larger pipe nipple to onnect it over..

I have seen some lawnmower mufflers similar tot he pancake that the G had originally. I got one of the newer repop larger pancakes.. didn't like it and made a stack.

I have also seen breather units for air compressors that were closer looking.

browse a small engine parts counter for ideas.. or get the longer close nipple..
