Can someone till me what type and weight of lube that I should put back in the differential of my CA Allis. Thanks Bobby

The "differential" includes the transmission and the hydraulics. It should be a thin weight oil llike 20wt. Factory fill was 20 wt motor oil. Today you can get Universal Tractor Fluid or HYTRANS, etc, that is a better fluid than motor oil. Takes about 8-9 quarts.
Dont forget the final drive on each side. This is a sheetmetal semicircular pan under the axle, inside the wheel rim. Should be a fill plug, but need to remove pan to clean and dump.
