oil pump drive pin,D14

Engine lost oil pressure,found the pump drive pin in the oil pan. Is the pin supposed to be a press fit in the camshaft? Has anyone else had this happen,if so what did you do to make sure it does not happen again. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Remembered reading a few posts where the guys were using roll pins.

I have used roll pins on several but you have to drill out the camshaft a little. I don't have the drill size in my mind at the moment.
