I have a allis 5030 that is not wanting to start i am going to check the glow plugs today i have replaced the head gasket and the rings look good in it what else could make it not want to start it is a diesel thanks in advance

1. Have you checked compression with a tester?
2. whats the outside temp?
3. Have you been or had to start useing either to fire the tractor?
4. How long are you rolling motor to fire? Does it puff black smoke before it fires?
5. No smoke no fuel
5A. fuel filter
5B. sucking air fuel line
5c. injector/injectors not sparying the right mist.
Just some ideas. Good luck

was just re reading your post. the way i read it earlyer was it ran but hard to start. Now i read it and its not clear if it will start at all. So before what i posted was some ideas on hard starting. Hear are some ideas if it dont start at all.
1. fuel pump
2. cracked/hole fuel line
3. fuel shut off (not sure whats on yours) man or elictric. located on injector pump.
4. injector pump it self.
5. fuel filter.
6. fuel tank empty/too low. (I know its silly)
Have you done any work work on tractor? Then this problem started?
