Hey Dick, most of us have those days, just damn few admit it! Ever spent a couple hours working on a tractor that woudn't start because there wasn't any gas in it? I have. Kind of pride myself in my mechanical abilities too. Wife came out and asked if I had checked the gas and I ran her off... never told her different.

Ya Butch and that aint half of it the parts diagram showed a threaded tube and when I took the pump back off I see that the pickup tube is cast into the hyraulic housing. I put the dumb pump back on and starte the tractor back up and it worked ok. You was able to hide your gas thing but I ran out of gas hooked to the sled at a pull. I realy did have a hole in the tank but do you think any on belived me. I was told ya the one where your suposed to put gas in.
