Hey Dick, can you tell again about the big valves in the B head? I was thinking you used small block chevy ? Are the valves exactly the right length or did you cut and grind new keeper grooves? What springs ? Intakes are larger, are the exhauast bigger or original ? Looks like a future project !

Small block Chevy valves are the correct length and stem diameter. They make SBC valves with both single and two groove valves. Both will work, you just have to have/use the correct keepers. The valve head for the SBC comes in several head diameters. 1.5 can be used by just grinding the seats in the head if they can be used. Others will need propper seats installed.
I do not have in my head what the maxium diameter valve head that will work without opening up the firing chamber.
