Awhile back I had problems with the CA generator, had the generator tested (good), new cut-out, new three way switch, new wiring, new ammeter and wired right and still charge. Pulling my hair out already, I loaded the tractor and took it to another mechanic and after him pulling his hair out, he discovered that it was the wrong generator. I needed a three brush, not a two brush generator. I looked in the shed and I found one that I needed. I also had to replace the new cut-out, it would not not disconnect and also the new ammeter that would not work properly!
