I"m having troulbe removing lower brake pin on D-17, it has not been changed in long time is there a easy way to remove them.

It will take some time to let them soak with PB Blaster. Spray once or twice a day for a week and tap the casting around the pin with a hammer. The inside whole (transmission casting)for the pin is a pain to get to but there is a whole underneth (brake housing) you can spray through. Worse case you may have to jack the wheel up and loosen the axle bolts and make sure the pin is not pinched from axle movement(slite turn to casting). You can tap on the pin head from front to back to jar it. Vice grips on the pin head and try to get movement back and forth and keep spraying with PB Blaster it should come loose. Try this and let us know if it works or not. There are other ways. I just had mine apart to put a axle seal in. Bandit
