Hello,
I"m over from the I/H board. Looked at a Allis B today for a buddy of mine. What"s the difference between the B, C, & CA. Is that similar to the Farmall A, B, &C? I see alot of Allis C"s with narrow front ends, and thought maybe that was set up for cultivating 2 rows at a time, similar to that of the Farmall B, with the wide rear wheel spacing. I feel like I"ve seen CA"s in both wide front and narrow configuations, but maybe I"m wrong. I"m not familiar with Allis. Thought someone here might be able to spell it out for me. Thanks alot for the help.
Respectfully, Shawn

The B was primarily a one-row tractor, with its fixed-width arch front axle. The C was a two-row model, with a wider rear wheel spacing and came with a tricycle front or adjustable front axle. Engine and drive trains were pretty much the same on both B and C.
The CA was based on the C, but had a four-speed transmission and a live-power clutch and power-adjust rear wheels, as well as better hydraulics.
