WD45 Arm oil

Cannot seem to locate wt. of oil for the extender arms mechanism. The oil filler cap is on the left side just below the frame top and just behind the battery.

10 or 20 weight nondetergent motor oil or hytran fluid.

If you mean the hyd system then my book calls for 20w above 45*, 10w below 45*. But if it was me I'd just use UTF.

Manual says to use 20 wt but I use the modern trans-hydraulic tractor fluid.

Have used 10-30 & 10-40 engine oil in mine since it was new...

njs, most guys are saying the same thing. Universal tractor fluid, Transmission- Hydraulic fluid, Hy-Trans, 303 tractor fluid... all are basically the same thing..These are like 30 wt non detergent oils, but unlike engine oil they have extra addatives for pumps and cylinder, and anti foaming... all will work great in your 45.
