tsx 773 carb

If I remember right yes it will bolt up but do not expect to get much if any gain from doing so. You can only use so much fuel and after that all your doing it flooding it. You should be able to take the carb you have and open up the main jet enough to get black smoke and that would do as much as going with the carb for the D-17/WD45

773 or 464 are essentially the same carb off of 226 cid engines. Either one will bolt right up to your WD. We have a 773 on a 240 cid(.125 overbore & 0.50 stroke 201) WC puller that turns around 1900-2000 rpms and a 464 on another 217 cid WC that runs stock rpms (.125 overbore 201).
Both tractors are using a current one size fits fits all WC/WD/WD45/earlyD17 replacement manifold and they both run great! Kip

Just to give you an idea of the price for them my nnalert catalog lists a rebuilt TSX773 for $271 plus a $100 core so if it has been rebuilt correctly that is not to bad a price
