WD PTO repair

PTO slips out of gear and it shows a spring and maybe with steel balls on each end in stub shaft. Is this a special spring or can I get it at a farm store. Thinks this is whats wrong with it. Or can I even get one. Thanks

I do not think that you will find one stout enough from a farm store, although I could be wrong. There is nothing special about the spring it is just an 1" x 1/4" high tensile strengh spring.
