Hi All
I am from Wales in the U.K and own an Allis "B"
My problem is Allis cant run for more than a mile at best and then stops, after about 20 mins it will re start on gas.
Not sure if its the Mag or just the fact that the temperature is to low for it to run on Kero, problem is if i try to run it hot it stops from over heating and temporary seizes up.
When she is cold she starts straight away no problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

if your coil inside the mageito, or the condenser inside the magnet is breaking down, it will get hot and not spark. AFter the tractor sets for 15-30 minutes, then it will start up again.. If the tractor stops and you can start it up in just a couple minutes, then it is probably a gas or carb problem. Since yours takes 20 minutes an dthat gives it time to cool down, i would guess the magnito...Next time it stops, pour cool water over the hot mag for 2 minutes, then try to start it up... that cools the coil and condenser.

Where I live gas is cheaper than gas.
