Model CA wheels

My 1952 CA needs new rear rims. Can clamp type rims be used to replace the power adjust rims that are on it now? I don't need adjustable rims anymore and the clamp types are so much less expensive. Thanks for the help.

Not without changing out the wheel centers.Buy the Time you get new centers your better off getting new power shift rims. you could get press steel wheels then you are stuck with the with you can find. and they cost about the same as new power shift rims.

My 2 cents; I bought wheels for a C and without removing the the wheels from the CA I removed the tires and cut the adjuster rails loose from the old rims, cleaned them up real good, slipped the C wheels over the rails and tack welded them in place. I then removed them from the centers and finished up the welding. Was an easy job.
