Identifying a tractor model

My neighbor has an Allis Chalmers tractor but I cannot tell what the model is. No decals are visible. It looks like a WD but we don't know. Can someone help with how we can identify it? Thanks.

Easiest way, of course, is to post a picture on here- it will be identified instantly, because at heart, we're all a bunch of show-offs about our tractor knowledge, and it'll be a race to see who can identify it first.

Lacking that, the first click under "Galleries" on the left of this page is Tractor Photos- go to AC, and start looking at pics to match it up.

look for a model number on the left side of the axle around the brake housing, or on the back of the axle on a flat boss if it has a rounded rear end. Also look at the motor serial number, i think on left side of motor at clutch housing.
