ca plow

Hello all,

I have a 2 bottom plow that came with my ca. The plow is in need of new points or shares. Not sure what the correct term would be. Anyhow, can someone give me an idea of models of plows that went with a ca? And where i can find new points. It does not a pin that hooks under the battey. Not a snap hook-up. I believe it is a 14 inch plow. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry. should have said. It DOES have a pin that hooks under the battery box. Not a snap. Sorry for the mistake

It's called a "CA" Pick-Up Plow and also known as a No. 52 Plow. They were available as (2) 12's, 14's or 16's.

I checked the manual that came with the CA52-14 plow that came with my CA... there are five different bottom assemblies listed in the manual, but on the bottom of each page, in bold type, "Order Repair Parts By Description" well crap%^&! I had hoped there would be a part number for you to go by.

If you decide to get yours welded up and reshaped, do get the manual for this plow, as it contains details on how to reshape the share.

There was a smaller shop that was building replacement shares a few years ago.. Give a yell to Leroy, he may know if the shop is still in operation.
