I know alot of people that are on here like country music. It just goes good with tractors.
One of my favorite steel guitar players is Joe Wright.
He does a song on a video I would like to know the title of.

I think it"s Sing Me Back Home.
If anyone what"s to send me an email I"ll send the link.
Thanks

One of my favorite steel guitar players is Barbra Mandrell. The OLD country music. This junk now is not country.

I dont care much for the sound of a steel guitar or the sound of the country music today but give me the sound of a good ole hound dog dobro and uve then have something to listen too. I started listening to Shot Jackson on WWVA when I is about 14 yrs old. He was part of the Clark Family Band on Hee Haw

You got that right.
That is why I listen to Eddie Stubbs every night on WSM online.

Tune in tonight at 7 central for Way Back Wednesday. Eddie digs way back into the country music vault.

Send me an email if you like steel guitar played right.

new stuff not country .. I listen to Stonewall Jackson, George Jones, Lefty Frizzel or Hank Sr....slip in a little ZZ Top or Steve Earle [singing Copperhead Road] when I get tired.....Kent

That's always seems to be the way on discussion forums. Everybody just puts down what first comes to their mind, Merle Haggard came out with "Sing Me Back Home" in 1968. Haven't heard the version you're interested in.

Riverslim, Go to Youtube and enter:

Mr Joe Wright = 03

He get's fancy after the guitar break.
With all the licks and slants it is hard for me to pinpoint the title.
It sounds like Sing Me Back Home.
He is fun to watch also. Makes alot of faces.

Well I know in my case if you had worded it so I knew what you where saying I would not have posted in the first place but the way you did it, it sounded like you where asking about the song not who did it. Either way I hate country and western stuff. Sorry about not understanding what you where saying

I only listen to two kinds of music: OLD C&W and classical w/stringed instruments.

Can't stand someone pounding away on a piano and absolutely hate Rock N Roll.

I've got CD's; can't tolerate 90% of what they play on the radio these days.

This is like asking external_link a question and he answers for 15 mins and doesn't say anything that makes any sense.
