WD45 Thermostat From AGCO is Different

Just bought a new thermostat from AGCO. It"s different than the original-what they sent me looks more like an automotive type thermostat. The original one had a rubber seal behind it too. Do I forget about the rubber seal with the new one or do I need to order a new seal from AGCO?

The thermostat from AGCO should include the rubber square ring.(I checked the bin to be sure) If it is not in the package you need to call your dealer and get another with the ring.

Thanks Jim...turns out they sent the wrong one. Looks like there's a choice between a 160 or 180 degree for the WD45. I use it for heavy plowing/disking but also for lighter duties so I'm not sure which one I should get.

You can only get the 180 anymore(from AGCO at least), should be fine for you. I can get you the part number if you want.

Any auto parts store should have it - alot cheaper too
