Did anybody here buy the C/woods belly mower of craigslist

This morning on the Ft Wayne, IN craigslist there was an Allis C W/59" woods belly mower for $750. When I got home from errands it had been removed/sold? The tractor didn't look terrible but needed "carb work" and battery. I was actually more interested in the mower mount than the tractor since I've got a deck with farmall mount and I'm not looking forward to making a mount.

Am I the only guy who sees "carb work" and thinks plugs, points, cond., valves, guides, bearings, seals, crank, rings, pistons and sleeves?

The last one I bought was $200 and the one before that was $300 but they didn't have mower decks. Gas, sandpaper, file and a battery and both ran pretty good. I call 'em the Rodney Dangerfield of tractors.

Well Sir, I'm glad you had errands to run because I now have said tractor.
Not sure what you need to know about mounts but the mower is a (Kub Klipper, model B 360 EC 2874) It was manufactured by "The Sun Master Corp" in Olathe, Kansas. I found them online and they have several models for various tractors. Let me know if I can be of further help.
Have a great day, Don

"Carb work", I laugh everytime I read it or hear it, and I agree with everything else you mentioned.

I see SO many ebay listings that state the tractor runs great, but needs carb work.

Congratulations on your new tractor. Do you have it sorted out yet? So it wasn't a woods deck, maybe I was just dreaming that part up? Really didn't look too bad for the money. Where you from? I'm outside Ashley, IN. There's a guy here who goes by DickL from Edon, OH who's pretty sharp on allis tractors. I've never met him but he sure seems to know his stuff.
