Cork rear main on a C

I'm putting together the engine on a Allis C and did get the rear seal on but it was tougher than I expected. How do you guys do it? A third hand would have been helpful.

Plenty of oil and work it on without causing it to break. If it were sloppy it wouldn't be a seal.
Sounds like you done good.
