AC 6060 injector pump timing

Hello all,
I have an AC 6060 diesel with a bad injector pump but I'm not sure about setting the timing when installing the new pump. I haven't removed the old pump yet but I thought I should post this question before I dig into it. I definitely appreciate any help you all can give. Thanks in advance!

Once you turn off the fuel, there should be a little rectangular window held on with two screws. Take that off and some fuel will leak out. Turn engine over by hand if possible to line up the marks inside the window. Then I think the timing marks are on the flywheel and there is an inspection hole. Look in with flashlight and a pointer in there lines up with timing mark. If not on flywheel, look on balancer on front of engine and timing mark will line up there. remove pump and do not move crankshaft. When you get pump back, line the marks in the pump and slide it back on in same spot.
