I got me 226 E combine motor that i am going put it in unstyled WC for pulling. I have 201 WC engine with timing cover on it. I have to swap the 201 timing cover on 226 E motor. My question is: What about crankshaft oil seal? which oil seal i can use on E motor? 201 or E motor seal? I am going to get new oil seal but i don't know which oil seal.

Will D17 timing cover work on unstyled WC frame?

Thanks
Tracy

You can actualy use the timeing cover for the gleaner engine, mine had a plug in the hole for the governor arm , just knocked it out and put the busching and seal in. the prob i ran into was the two bottom bolts for cover were a different size and the tractor cover would not fit.

It seems that I can start out with my tractors in great running condition but sometime during the long cold dark winter they quickly revert to the lawn-art category. The lack of running, cold weather, and admitted neglect all take their toll on a machine. If you are lucky enough to not need your tractors during the winter months you can perform a few simple maintenance items to winterize and come spring have them going by reversing the process. If you need your tractor in ready-to-run condition (like that ... [Read Article]
