D19 power steering pump

Anybody know where to come up with a new p/s pump that doesn"t cost a mint. Anyone with experience rebuilding pump?

No such thing as new bargain priced pumps sorry. New pumps are a few bucks either side of 1K everywhere that has them. Rebuilding the old pump can be done depends on what is wrong with it. If the gears and housing are worn out its pretty much junk. Bearings and seals are available at any bearing supply house, that"s where I got mine for less than $25. You must use a seal made for a pump, not an ordinary shaft seal. I didnt save the part numbers. If you have no experience with pumps or sourcing parts for them I suggest a hydraulic rebuilder. Used pumps are around but nobody will claim to know if they are good or not, at least nobody I checked with.

Yeah I had a nice looking pump that came with a bunch of NOS parts...decided to take it apart before I was going to sell it...it was empty inside!
