Is it true that if you're looking for an allis chalmers ca you're better off buying the tractor separate from the loader?

i would think it would cost more to buy a loader and add it later. Really depends on what your going to do with the loader. Dont expect a CA to lift much or dig at all. If your lifting 500-700 pounds to carry -- o.k. It would be a light utility tractor, not a real loader.

Not many CA models with a loader- pretty light setup. Loaders are much more common on a WD, etc., and way more capacity. Plenty of WDs with loaders for a grand or so. Hard to find a plain CA for that money. But they are cute, and have other advantages!

A CA with a loader steers very hard. Needs power steering.
