Hey all you allis people, I am looking to add a d 19 lp to my collection. This will be my first Allis since I was a kid. The owner has asked me to make him an offer and I am lost as to price. The 19 has sat fot at least 2 years and the LP engine is stuck because the exhaust ran cap stuck open. we all want the best price we can find but I want to be fair. The tires are about 80% and the paint is decent for it"s age with the left hood panel missing,he said it popped off and he ran it over. The owner thinks it"s rare ( I hate that word ) because it"s an Lp tractor. How many were produced? What would be a fair price? Thanks every one

You have a $1000.00 tractor tops. The LP D19 is not a desirable tractor as you can no longer get parts for the LP system and they are not that rare. Getting a replacement hood will be even harder than finding LP parts.

When the owner of ANY piece of equipment ask me to give them a price, I tell them NO NO NO you do not understand, they are one that owns it not ME. Since they own it, IT IS UP TO THEM TO PRICE IT. You could insult them and say you would give then a dollar.

what does it weigh? thats your starting point if he forces you to price it-- you have to figure that you cant get it to run-- you say the motor is stuck-- whats it worth if it wont free up and run--he"s likely to tell you its an easy fix-- then why doesnt he fix it? ive got a diesel 19 --its a great tractor-- but i doubt i could get 2 grand for it
