wc and wd engine swap

Hi all can I use a wd engine in a 1939 wc frame ? Will the bellhousing match throttle cable etc .

Engine bolts right in- throttle rod is a different setup, but similar enough to work. Use the existing rod from the WC.

I can not say about the unstyled WC but I can say about the styled and the engines in the WC and WD are in fact the same engines and for that matter a WD45 engine will also bolt right in. When I got my W Speed Patrol it had a WD45 engine in it and I later found a WD engine and put that in and a W Speed Patrol was based on the WC tractor

All the "W" engines interchange, through the D17, and Model E Gleaner combine. They also fit the RC. (WC frame) Unstyled and styled WC, WD, WF, WD45, D17.
