1955 w/d 45 Frozen

on 08/14/10 we put in 50/50 acetone & atf in cyl. we took value cover off & vacume all the rust out & off. the values appear to be loose. we put atf on values. it will rock a little.. can not get hand crank to go @ all. how long should we wait??? no need to rush would rather try what ever than spend big bucks..first allis not running yet.

Trying to spin over a locked up engine with a hand crank is like trying to push a D8 cat with a lawn mower it isn't going to happen. That said what I do and I do it all the time is set a 12 volt battery in and use short fast taps of the starter every once in a while say every other day. Don't hold the button just hit and release and do that say 5 times a day till it moves or if not may have to open it up
