I am having wd45 head reworked. Is there a better valve steam clip to use other than factory?

I don't think you want to delete those keepers..!

If you want, you can install umbrella-type seals.(Ford-type), on the Intakes..but they should not be necessary..unless the valve guides are a little loose.
Probably good insurance against sucking oil past the Intakes...especially if they were knurled, to re-size them..
Seems to me that I used 318 valve retainers on mine, to increase seat pressure..

thanks,
does someone know the napa part number for the ford umbrella seal that will fit the 45 valves.
My napa store seems like they don't care much anymore about helping out with this old equipment. I know you just size them to the steam.
