Front Wheel

I have never seen an A that had that small of a wheel. Mine has a 7.50x18. An A is around 7,00 lbs. A lot of tractor to have on a 4.00x15 tire. Are you sure you do not have a B or C?

David, I looked at this tractor and it looks like a AC B. The man that sold it to him told him it was a 1937. It does have 400x15 inch tires on the front. Where would the s/n be located so I can verify the year model. Thanks for all the info.

Two posts above this one another poster is trying to see if he has a B..some info there you can use... My fathers B had 15 x 4 tires with a 5 lug steel wheel (15x3)

Serial number is just forward of the shifter and is cast in the housing. If you grab the shifter where it comes out of the tranny your litte finger will be sitting on the numbers you want

Your location is right, but serial numbers are never cast- they are stamped. Casting department doesn"t know when their parts will be used. lol- I know you know better, just bet you"re too concerned when that dang rain will quit, so you can bale some hay!!!. I don"t miss that part of farming...easier with just corn and beans now. Have fun gettin" those varmints, too!

Just been to long since I really look at them to remember maybe it has to do with the getting old problem lOL
