I recently aquired an Allis Chalmers A and was told that it is a 1940 model yet when I looked up the serial number in the 'Serial Numbers' area of this site, my serial number does not correspond with those listed. The 'A' serial numbers listed start with 26614 and my serial number is CA20547. Can somebody help me idenitfy what year tractor this is? Thanks

A Model A is a very old, old, tractor. Yours sounds like a Model CA, and that serial number would make it a 1952 model. Look left, to "Galleries", then go into Tractor Photos, then Allis-Chalmers. Look for a CA and compare to what you have.
