WD- or 45 hand clutch extentions.

As I get older many things get more dificult to do. The hand clutch seems to be getting farther away as I reach for it. Any one ever put a extention on the hand clutch to bring it closer?

I purchase six hand clutches at a auction for a couple bucks for all six. So I could weld something on, but if it didn't work and ruined it I could go back to plan A without any expence.

My seat has a hinge welded to the seat, and is not adjustable. As I think this over, I do have a parts 45 that I could steal the original seat off of, and perhaps fix my problem.

I have one on my 1954 WD45. Basically it is a pipe that slips over the hand clutch handle, a flat strap welded to the pipe and a pipe welded to the opposite end of the strap for a handle. There are a couple set screws on the hand clutch end to make it adjustable and hold it in place. I think the whole thing is about 12 inches long. Sorry I don't have a picture handy.
