allis B 3 point

Lately I notice a few 3 point hitch conversions for sale on e-bay. The new manufactured 3 points look well built. My question Is has anyone had one/ can the allis B handle implements, such as dearborn plows? back blades, like the 8n ford implements? I would think the weight ratio up front on the allis B would be on the light side for such 3 point equipment. thanks for your opinions, Jim

I have a 3 point on my C and it works ok for things like a back blade but not for something like a disk. Or at least not the disk I have which is a 6 footer but it also has a 300lbs boiler plate on it. It would probably handle a 1 bottom 12 plow also since if I remember right the B had a mounted plow that was that size any how

I've been happy with my conversion. With about 200 lbs of suitcase weights hanging on the front it handles a 5' bushhog or 6' disc well. I tried a 3 pt dearborn plow and didn't like it. It wandered up/down and side to side much more than the factory B setup.

thanks Clay, I was thinking about putting a 5 ft back blade, for running up and down the driveway, and I have a 6ft dear born disc, that might work. Was starting to think , how I could hang weights off the front of the B, do you make a weight bracket, that bolts some place up front? thanks Jim
