Ah but are you sure you do not have a bad cylinder since if it has an internal leak a bad cylinder will cause the same type of problem and oh by the way it can/will drive you nuts trying to figure it out

Old, i was starting to think that it may be the cylinder causing the problem. I know the cylinder has a little leaking, always leaves drops on my garage floor, maybe I should try find a good cylinder, and try that. where can a guy find a good cylinder or what kind do others use, if not original, thanks Jim

An Agco dealer will have or be able to get all the parts you need to rebuild that cylinder. There a very simple cylinder to rebuild or take it to one and have them do it probably would not cost all that much to have them do it and if they mess up they bite the bullet on the parts

My manual also says I can flush the unit with gas or solvent without disassembly, but removed from pto housing. the manual does not tell me the proper way of flushing the hyd unit. any thoughts or suggestions on flushing the unit? thanks again,Jim

Dick L , you are right, projects are never 100% done.
