got in a mess tonite putting in new rings and pistons when i of my oil rings broke were will in find rings for 1 piston thanks cdv

What brand rings did you buy? Are they standard size or has the block been bored? Do you deal with any older Continental dealers?

Otto Gas Engine Works sells rings in all sizes in any quantity.
I did the same thing on a N62 in a M-H pony a few years ago and bought my replacement ring from them for a few bucks.Buy an extra just to be safe.....

Look at the bright-side...if it broke, it may have had a flaw and would have broken while in the engine...!!

If I have a choice, I opt for Nodular Iron rings...they don't "break...so, won't "Shatter", either when in use..

I wonder just how many "Cast rings" are still being used..?? The first sign of detonation and the compression rings Break..!!
