Allis Chalmers D10 exhaust

I was wanderind where I might find on the internet a replacement muffler for a gas engine D10 Allis Chalmers. The muffler on it now is bolted to the manifold. Wandering if I could go with a straight pipe curved out at the top? Or could any muffler work or does it have to have the holes at the base of it to be mounted to the manifold?

If you have a local store that carries the Walker brand of mufflers you can get an exact replacement that bolts on thru the manifold. I got one for my B and it sounds great. I believe the B and the D10 use the same muffler. Was about $40.
