Are they good tractors? Any touble with the power shift transmission I am thinking about buying and would like to know the pros and cons Any info would be helpfull

We've ran a 7045 with a powershift the past two years and haven't seen any problems so far, the same can't be said for the other big tractor in the fleet. Its got good power but not the same lugging ability of our 1486, its got good speed selection and has a good firm shift when you change gears. Obviously I can't tell you anything about MFWD but with the improved cab I think you'd be making a good choice with the 8030.

cab nice powershift usually tuff, mfwd are ok with small wheels engines not the best. check the balencer and rear main seal. ok tractor in their day but that was 25 years ago

make sure the fan belts are running streight to start with also if you can get in close there is a couple dots on thr inside and outside that should line up. there is a hole under the front of the trans. look for oil
