I was trying to turn brake lever out on my 39' b allis, and it broke off. the thread part of brake lever is still inside the brake drum actuator. now what?????? theres no way to weld a bolt on, and remove that way. can a guy still find the parts I will need to correct this??? thanks, ME AGAIN.

dont know if you can get to it down in that hole. might have to remove the cam and then drill it out and clean the threads. to remove the part, you need to pound out the two 5/8 inch pins that run parralel to the axle shaft and ae the pivots for the shoe ends. spray with penetrant, use a impact chisle if you have one. lots of pounding if you dont.

Steve I have the brake handle cam out, I drilled thru broken bolt, but I damaged the threads in the cam in doing so. I think I can tap new threads, and try find a replacement brake handle (USED ONE) I hope.
