I've never done an engine rebuild and would like to hire it out. The local JD and IH dealers wont touch it. It seems like the parts needed are here on this site. I just need someone with some experience to do the work. Does anyone know a place in Indiana?

I have a full service shop at home. I can rebuild your engine for you. I have over 40 years experience in repair work. I do not take shortcuts or perform any unnecessary work. I stand behind what I do. I'm located in Goshen, IN which is 30 miles SE of S. Bend. If you are interested in contacting me about your rebuild, my e-mail is open.

I had my machine work done at Ed's Engine Service Mooresville, IN for my WD. They had no problem getting parts or doing as much work as I wanted. Their # 317-831-1073. About 20 miles south of Indy.

Thanks for the reply. I'll write them down and give them a call.
Thanks for the lead and more importantly the recommendation.
A positive endorsement means a lot.

It's a Continental N62 engine so try some forklift rebuilders that work on Continental or other local mechanics or ask some at a local tractor club who could do it for you there.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: JB Weld - by Staff. JB Weld is basically an epoxy glue that does an exceptionally good job of bonding to cast iron and steel along with several other materials. As I mentioned, it is so common that I have yet to buy a tractor that did not have JB Weld used somewhere. It is sometimes used so well you can't tell its there and other times used as a sloppy quick fix. Finding where and how it can be used correctly is key to whether you are using it as an "inelegant hack" or an integral solution to difficult and expens ... [Read Article]
