12 volt conversion

i am looking for a wiring diagram to convert my wd to 12 volts i have installed alternator, delco, i have installed a resistor but i need help wiring things. i am going to have an on and off switch, no ammeter, no lights pretty simple in you kknow what you are doing or if you have a diagram. thanks

Well if it is the Delco 10si 3 wire here is how you do it. Wire from the big post goes to the battery or battery side of the soliniod. Wires from the plug are marked #1 and #2. #1 goes to the switch but you need a diode like the radio shack 276-1661 or a light bulb in that wire or you will not be able to shut it down. Wire from the #2 goes to the big post that is all there is to it simple and easy
