WD45 tranny

I have double geared. I removed the shifting tower, and haveing problems lining it all back up. I know I opened a can of worms, but what is the trick to sliding everthing back in place?? I have looked and wrestled with it, but no luck. THANKS for any help, or picks on were the gears need to be on reassembly!!

I find it easier if the shift lever is in reverse, then slowly lower the assembly into the case, and align the gears with the forks as it comes together. In reverse, that shifter goes around the other parts better.

THANKS SO MUCH, that will put me in the right direction. I think my shifter may be worn also. That thing is all over the place.
